This bag fit the bill. I can carry my purse on my shoulder, and carry this one in my hand, or the other way around. The bag has a very nice padded shoulder strap for comfort, and it has enough room to insert your computer, charger, and also enough papers, folders, and pens/pencils, for a day's work. Very professional looking without the high price tag. Excellent bag.
