The fabric is super cute and bright and has not faded with washing. But, the printed fabric is a bit coarse and scratchy while the plain fabric on the inside cover is a very soft flannel. I expected a nap blanket to be much more soft and cozy overall. I hope it softens up over time with washing.
The pillow is nice but you have to remember to remove it before washing or it becomes lumpy.
I also like how this blanket rolls up and secures with velcro for easy carrying. I was nervous that my son would not want to nap at school so I bought this blanket for him and used it at home for a week or so to ease the transition. He immediately took to it and embraced the transition.
