(More customer reviews)The Patagonia Freewheeler Max is an expeditionary-class piece of luggage, designed to haul clothing, boots, and other gear practically anywhere. It is constructed of tough reinforced abrasion-resistant nylon, with an equally tough plastic bottom skid plate. The straps allow the main cargo hold to be tightened down when not full. The Freewheeler moves easily on its wheels and can be pushed or pulled. The bottom section can hold walking poles, boots, water bottles and other hard or semi-hard objects. The main compartment can easily accomodate clothes, packs, and other gear. This reviewer and his spouse traveled for two weeks in the UK out of the Freewheeler, on and off planes, trains and automobiles. The Freewheeler may be considered outsized luggage by some airlines.
The Freewheeler Max is highly recommended to fans of quality Patagonia gear.
