I had tried another brand from WalMart that was a 3.0 hub and was supposed to be backwards compatible to 2.0 computer I have but that didn't work out. So I bought this 2.0 hub and it works just fine. Even though a little more expensive, this Codi brand also had it's own power supply which I thought would help because of all the other stuff I've got plugged in to my computer.
