(More customer reviews)I purchased the pewter version of this from Target and it has been great so far. It's much lighter weight than solid-sided luggage and does fit front-to-back in the overhead compartment on a plane. There are zippered compartments the ends and sides outside the duffel, a mesh compartment on the flap, and also a plastic compartment that snaps out inside.
My only small complaint is that it can be a little off-balance if you leave it standing upright -- there aren't plastic pieces on the base end of the duffel like you'll see with some. It's worth the trade-off for how light this thing is when you lift it!
