It is very compact and can be used as either a belt bag or an over the shoulder/crossbody bag. One zipper pocket that would be towards the body is perfect for her passport. The design is such that you could put quite a few items inside, but still be able to grab anything out without digging for it. The construction looks very sturdy. She was thrilled and I'm getting one for myself for the next time I get to travel somewhere. One thing I would say to the manufacturer - please make this in some colors.
