(More customer reviews)The GoLite packs are great. Very light, simple, comfortable, adjustable height of top loader. There are different packs which GoLite makes that are roughly the same design but come in different series which come in different sizes. The Peak series is the smallest and it comes 3 sizes, small, medium and large. I purchased a large which offers 38 liters of space. The GoLite packs are unique being as they do not have a typical top loading flap cover which clips shut. Normally, I would never purchase a pack that does not offer a flap cover since it exposes the contents to the elements but what the GoLite packs NORMALLY do instead is allow you to roll down the top and strap it shut to keep them out. That leads me to the problem with the Peak pack. Since it is the smallest of the GoLite series, the main compartment does not extend very high above the shoulder straps, in fact, the mouth of the compartment is only 2 inches above the top strap which goes over the opening, so there is literally nothing to roll down. The strap is intended to hold the rolled top in place and honestly, I do not see why they even put it on the Peak pack, it's useless. So as you can guess, I was extremely disappointed seeing as I was expecting to be able to keep my belongings dry and safe. Be warned.
