Nick & Nora Travel Pak Review

The bag is perfect for only a small amount of make-up and the luggage tag is just average. The owls are bright and pretty.

(More customer reviews)I got this bag as a gift and it's been my travel companion ever since. Its many compartments keep belongings organized and easily accessible, and I always know where everything is. Since compartments are all zippered, everything is secure. Another advantage is that it's discrete enough to double as a handbag (my sling bag is black), so no need to stuff extra weight in my suitcase. The nylon is rugged and resistant, zippers are good quality. I should know: I've been using this bag a lot and not being exactly kind to it.
I don't have any clanging zippers, but did find that the adjustable strap keeps slipping through the metal holder (I like the bag at waist length, close to the body, and the strap is long), perhaps because the nylon it is made of is so smooth. I solved this by getting a cheap metal barrette and closing it around the strap right below the holder (it works!). Another interesting aspect is that the bag is a lot more comfortable to carry when slung over the right shoulder -- not made for lefties! I'm a lefty, but this doesn't bother me.

BUT--there is absolutely NO padding to protect the laptop--just a big empty pocket. If you have a sleeve already this bag's okay and can handle your cords, mouse and accessories. But it's really just a glorified messenger bag.

High Sierra Sports A.T. Gear Classic 30" Wheeled Duffel Review

(More customer reviews)I really like this bag! I use it to take brochures and promo items with me on my educational rounds speaking with patients and exhibiting at conferences. The bag holds an amazing amount of items and I like all of the extra outside pockets. I combined this bag with clear plastic storage bins of various sizes to create a modular approach to my organization.
It rolls well and I have once used the backpack straps. Using the straps, I get odd looks from people because it is big!
The ONLY thing I have found that I don't like or would change is the fact that there is only a handle on one end of the bag for lifting. I need a handle on the end with the wheels as well to help me lift it up onto the seat in my truck or onto a shelf. This is the only reason I held back and assessed 4 stars instead of 5. The build quality is amazing.
Other than that, I would buy another one in a minute!

Briggs & Riley Verb Glide Backpack Review

(More customer reviews)I've been using this Briggs & Riley backpack for a number of months now and have no complaints. I use it for my daily commute via public transit and have carried it on business trips as well.
It is very well made and designed. Looks appropriate for a business professional and not a "book bag" for a high school student. It is "classy".
It's not too big and not too small. Very comfortable to wear and it still looks brand new after months of use!
Well worth the price. I doubt if I'll need to replace it for years to come.

(More customer reviews)The lock and luggage tag looked real sharp and could catch my eye on almost any luggage carosel. Unfortunately, the two that I purchased failed to operate correctly. I followed the instructions on setting the combination very carefully and repeated it several times. But could not get it to work. So, I packed them up and returned them. Later, on another site, I saw directions for setting the combination which were materially different from those contained with the locks I purchased. Whether this would have worked, I unfortunately do not know.

(More customer reviews)I just got this bag today. It is beautiful the print is just like the purse (i have that too) but the fabric is different. I was worried it would be the same silky material which would get dirty easily but its not. Definitely not a bag i would check onto a plane but then again i take really good care of my kathy bags! There is a zipper pocket inside and two stretchy pockets. The zipper pocket on the outside looks big. The inside of the bag is a really good size too.The underside of the bag that you cant see is that blue shiny plastic looking stuff so it wont get dirty when you wheel the bag. It looks good though, it doesnt look like plastic its really nice. I plan to use it as a carry on this summer on a trip to hawaii. Will update my review after if anything changes quality-wise! hope this helps!

(More customer reviews)Just received Samsonite Solana 24" bag from Amazon. Price is very good from Amazon compare to other retailers. Design of the bag is quite sleek due to tapered top edges. I ordered this Spinner bag thinking that it will be easier to carry around. The quality and the construction of the bag is very high quality. 24" is just about right size I was looking for. This bag's design makes this bag look smaller/slimmer then other bags in similar sizes. Yes, it is nice to roll this bag with 4 wheels on the "smooth" surfaces. However, those wheels are small. When you have to go over some bumps, rough surface, or steps, those small wheel don't work well - when you carry this bag in two wheels, they are not as good as the two wheeled bags with larger wheels. Also, be aware that this bag is quite heavy on the bottom (I guess from 4 wheel construction. I would have return this bag but I am keeping it since my trip is only few days away.

I love the feel of this leather it is almost silky. Great for long nailed people as you wouldn't notice scratches on it. Columbia Luggage Marauder Horizontal Messenger Bag Review

(More customer reviews)I have been searching for a separate bag to carry for a class i have in the evening instead of hauling my monster one back to campus again. I was slightly hesitant to buy this w/o any reviews. But found this to be a great purchase and decided to create a review for anyone else that my be one the fence about this one.
I bought this bag in the std. black w/ silver(read reflective) stripes. The color matches fairly true to what is shown in the pictures on here. The flap and top of the shoulder pad are made from the same soft feeling rubber material. As for the claim of being waterproof, this only applies to the flap and not to the nylon parts of the bag (back and sides). They maybe water resistant but don't plan setting it in a puddle(snow ok)!
Build quality of the bag is good/great and about what I expected from Columbia. Interior dimensions from what I measured are 11"(d)x 17"(w)x 4"(t) without bulging the bag out(It holds my HP Envy 14, two notebooks and a Moleskine perfect.). The little mesh pocket on the inside is nice but not essential for anything I find myself doing. There is also a zippered compartment on the front side of the bag though, that is quite convenient for storing small items(see posted picture for notes). The bag does not taper at all towards the bottom like some do. The handle on top is also nice as many messenger bags do not provide this.

I must admit some fault on this bag though, if only minor:
-The shoulder pad is good. But not great.
-The strap is stitched to the bag, instead of having swivels. So if you aren't paying attention you will have five twists in it before you know it.
Beyond that this bag is fantastic. It handles it's evening class job superbly and have no problem throwing my stamp of approval on it!

However, after testing the bag on day one, I am happy I spent the money for this product and would definitely do so again. After over a month of constant daily use, there have been no defects, breakages, etc. All of the seams,zippers, and straps are very durable. With a full load of about 15+ pounds including the wheel platform, everything holds together and shows no sign of stress(wheeled or carried). Every aspect of this bag shows great consideration by the manufacturer. Everything claimed by this bag is true. For those with large 17" laptops, nearing the limits of the bag size: you may find that the fit at first is tight using the removable brief, however, everything does fit and is well protected (After breaking-in the leather, the fit is great). It held 2 DHL Medium Express shipping boxes (for a failed shipping attempt) and many other souvenirs.
