(More customer reviews)I recently had a back injury, so schlepping 15 pounds of books and laptop on my roadbike to class and back is no longer an option...for now (hopefully). And so began my search for the perfect rolling bag. As a senior in college, the last thing I wanted to be stuck with is something that would become obsolete in a few month's time. I wanted something that could be used in many different ways: travel, school, and later as a professional. After a careful review and an exhaustive (in ALL senses of the word) online search, I found this bag. I thought it was overpriced. I still kind of do. BUT, I believe wholeheartedly that this bag will last me many, many years. Because I am an incredibly tactile person, I decided that I absolutely needed to see and touch this bag before I bought it. I called my local REI and they have this bag on clearance for $104!! I went immediately and bought it. I am very glad I did. If you have an REI near you, you might want to call and see if you can get this amazing bag for $100 off (and you don't have to wait for it to ship!). If not, then if you can spare the cash, its worth it. the wheels roll well, its waterproof (I inadvertently tested this in the downpour on the way home from buying it...), the seams are well constructed, and for 1800 cubic inches of space, it really holds a lot. I have a North Face daypack that is the same size and I can't fit nearly as much into it. In comparison to similarly priced items I really think this is a quality bag that holds a lot.

About Osprey Things at Osprey move full circle, starting with the people, moving to the product, and then back again to the people for the lifetime of the product. Company founders Mike Pfotenhauer and Laurie White started the company in 1974 in Santa Cruz, California, introducing such features in the next few years as breathable mesh panels, custom-fit internal frame mountaineering packs, and slide adjustable chest straps.
