I wasn't sure of the weather so I packed clothes for warm and cool weather,3 pairs of sandals, books,and lots of other things. I had room to spare. Fits just fine in the overhead compartment, didn't have to wedge it in like others were doing. I love the bright red color and it moves freely on its wheels. I am very happy with this purchase. Roomy, tough, little bag.
